OVERVIEW
Luminaris was once a barren world, revitalized centuries ago by House Altheris using sacred techniques they claimed were visions from their deity, “The Weaver.” They cultivated the lumina trees, whose resin not only sustains the planetary economy but is also considered a divine gift. The House rose to prominence as the prayer beads they crafted gained fame for their beauty, craftsmanship, and mystical properties. Pilgrims from across the galaxy visit Luminaris to meditate in its serene landscapes and acquire these revered artifacts.

Sanctum Praxis
Sanctum Praxis, serves as both a residence and a rigorous training ground. It offers practical education in the physical and mental disciplines required for traveling priests, such as endurance training for harsh environments, persuasive speaking, and cultural adaptability. Trainees at Sanctum Praxis live in communal quarters, reinforcing the values of unity and shared purpose integral to the faith.
The camp is equipped with specialized facilities, including:

Chanting Halls: Dedicated spaces for perfecting hymns and spiritual recitations central to their teachings.

The Threaded Path
A sect of the Orange Catholic faith that emphasizes the interconnectedness of all existence, symbolized by threads woven into a divine tapestry. Practitioners of the Threaded Path believe in humility, service, and spreading enlightenment through spiritual connection and shared purpose.
The Weave Academy
A prestigious institution dedicated to training priests, scholars, and proselytes to carry the teachings of the Threaded Path to the far reaches of the Imperium. The academy focuses on spiritual guidance, hymn composition, and the philosophy of interconnection central to House Altheris. They are appointing as Dean one of their most famous authors of hymns and inspirational writings (their secondary domain): Illarion Myrath.
A renowned author of hymns and inspirational texts, Illarion Myrath has long been revered as the “Voice of the Threads.” His writings are considered foundational to the Threaded Path and have inspired generations of followers. Known for his charisma and eloquence, Illarion is expected to elevate The Weave Academy as a beacon of spiritual wisdom and artistic excellence.
ENVIRONMENT
The planet features temperate zones rich in natural resources, including lumina resin and crystalized minerals.
The lumina tree is unique to Luminaris, emitting a faint golden glow during certain lunar cycles.

In many places I cite the Dune Encyclopedia, a collective work released in 1983, which I got from a book of the month club accidentally and was my entry point to the Dune universe, I would love to have a link available so you could get your own, but it appears to be out of print.
