Dangerous Shooting

Friendly Fire is not your friend. If you fire into a melee that involves one or more allies you attack at Disadvantage. If you miss, there is a 1-in-8 chance that you strike any given ally in that melee. Large creatures may receive extra ‘chances’ to be hit if the target is Medium size or smaller. Medium and smaller creatures in combat with Huge or larger opponents do not provoke this rule.

If you are shooting through a square that contains an ally to get to your target, the shot also counts as Dangerous as well as also providing incremental cover for the target. Any ally in the line of attack likewise gets a 1-in-8 chance of being hit if you miss your attack roll.

I have been running games since I was ten years old and have always enjoyed stories of hijinks and high adventure as well as the occasional creepy crawl into the shadowy abyss. I enjoy a wide variety of games and love to have a table filled with laughter.
